This Sunday sees South Lincs Steelers Reds team in action for the first time, in this seasons PDFL walking football Division 2 competition. The Reds (formally the Clarets), have 2 tough matches against Huntingdon and Stamford and hope to get off to winning ways.
The team will be wearing their brand new shirt for the very first time. The new shirt has a main part of red and the more South Lincs Steelers traditional blue. Also printed on the shirt is the sponsors name of locally based, family run engineering firm of over 40 years, Don Scaife Steel Erecting. The company has made a considerable financial contribution to the cost of the shirts and has also been influential to the conception and growth of the club. It is also the main inspiration of the club name.

The Club would like to thank all at Don Scaife Steel Erecting for their continued support and hope that the new shirt gives Reds a nice boost to the beginning of the season.
